Legacy of the Nation – National Heroes Day 2025

On September 16, 2025, we gathered at National Heroes Park for Legacy of the Nation, an evening of reflection and remembrance in honour of our National Heroes.

The programme highlighted the industries and institutions shaped during their lifetimes, with local historians sharing stories that connected us to our most treasured heritage sites. Nearly 3,000 people joined the live stream, allowing the diaspora and those at home to celebrate together.

Special thanks go to the families of our National Heroes, our partners, and the many volunteers who made the night possible.
